The purpose of these instructional videos is to help you understand the basic fundamentals of movement and the technical principles that help improve your overall dancing. Technique is not difficult, the process of learning is hard because it is work; work is never easy but, once you learn it, dancing in itself becomes very easy. Technique is an element that help you understand the mechanics of your body and how to use it properly and efficiently. Dancing well is not hard as long as you dance smart, using proper technique allows you to do very, very little and get a whole lot in return and dancing great is getting the physical process down and out of the way as quick as possible so you can focus on the artistic aspect overall; we enable our bodies physically to interpret movement artistically but the physical has to be the initial priority and then all the artistic elements and ideas start to manifest themselves through your physical interpretation of dance."
